William Swift received their B.A. in Theatre from Southwestern University in Georgetown, Texas and attended the National Theatre Institute at the Eugene O'Neill Theatre Center in Waterford, Connecticut. In their final year of university, William performed the one-man show Thom Pain (based on Nothing) by Will Eno, raising over $500 for the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI).
William and his theatre company, THE VIRTUAL THEATRE ENSEMBLE, for the 2nd time, are currently casting and holding rehearsals for an inovative production of theatre, using the online multiplayer video-game, Grand Theft Auto Five (GTA V) as the medium of production. First came Deborah Zoe Laufer's "Leveling Up," the rehearsals for which you can see on the PRODUCTIONS page of this site. William is now rehearsing his 2nd production, "Hamlet: Prince of Los Santos," all entirely from popular GTA V RP server, Mafia City Roleplay.
